Every possible-blog-name.wordpress.com shows up as registered
-
Hi,
I’m trying to register a new blog but it looks like every name I choose including fairly odd ones like bla-bla-bla-bla won’t do. When I try to check if the addressed are taken by just typing “bla-bla-bla-bla.wordpress.com” in the address tab of my browsers, I always get a window that says the following:“The address bla-bla-bla-bla.wordpress.com is reserved and cannot be registered, but you can sign up and choose another one.”
This doesn’t seem to make sense. Can anyone help me here?
Thanks a lot,
Ada -

When a person registers a username at WordPress.com the matching blog name is reserved by Staff for them and they can claim it by contacting Staff.
