Every post the author receives many multiple email notifications

    Greetings!

    I have an annoying WP issue going on.

    Every tome one of our authors post, the receive many, many, notifications. ‘Hundreds’ in their words.

    This is with every author and every post!

    Has anyone ever seen this? I have searched high and low for an answer!?
