Every time I edit my post I lose bold and italics

I’ve been having this problem for a few days now. As I’m using the Quentin theme which is a brownish background it makes it very difficult for readers to notice my links without the bold.
Also without the italics, it looks like the words I’m using are my own instead of quotes.
Please help

Well, the problems are still there for me when using Google Chrome. Apparently, WordPress is looking into this problem.
