Every time I go to my WordPress Site, an old site I created will show up when I click on the My Site menu. I am very confused!!

    Okay, so, when I open my Pagan Essentials WordPress site at WordPress.com, paganessentials.wordpress.com, All 32 pages will appear. But, when I click on the My Site option (top left corner of the screen) an old site, My Vivid Awake Dreams located at vividawakedreams.wordpress.com information will appear. Not my Pagan Essentials information!! I would this to be fixed asap because I am working on several projects to improve Pagan Essentials and I am just stuck right now. Thank you.

    Hi there @ivyjadedwyldfyre

    It is really annoying when something like this happens and doesn’t let you work on your projects, but not to worry, there is a fix for this.

    Because you must be using the same WordPress.com account for both, your new site and your old site, when you go to “My sites” on the top left corner you will see them both and you can switch sites between them.

    You manage your sites by clicking on your profile picture (top right of your screen), and then selecting “Manage blogs”, you can follow the link to the guide on how to do it. From that guide, you’ll find two things I recommend doing.

      Make your new site to be your Primary Blog, so it’s easy to access from the dashboard.
      Make your old site to hide from the dashboard, so you won’t see it when you select “My sites”.

    Doing the first step should be enough to fix your problem, and by doing the second step and hiding your old blog from the dashboard you’ll avoid any confusion.

    That site is connected to another account is yours paganessentials, https://wordpress.com/forums/users/paganessentials/.
    You must log out from current ivyjadedwyldfyre and log in again as paganessentials.

    To add to what @staartmees noted, it seems like you have another WordPress.com account. To manage the paganessentials.wordpress.com, you’ll need to first log out here: https://wordpress.com/me/

    If you would prefer to have everything under one account, you can transfer ownership of your site to your preferred account. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
