Everything got erased

    A few days ago, my friend purchased her new theme for her site for MOJO marketplace (which we can’t find anywhere) and while we were trying to install it, she pressed a button that said make your website go live now. Once she clicked that, her whole website got erased and gave us a blank template that was not the one we purchased from MOJO Marketplace. She lost her entries, comments, likes, etc. How do I get them back? I had previously exported her forms but when I went to go import them into the file, it said nothing had changed

    This is the wordpress.COM support forum. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.

    There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and you cannot upload any custom themes or third party themes, or create your own theme here at wordpress.COM, or use stylesheets from another theme. You can do those only on wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.

    The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

    There is no upgrade you can buy here that changes that.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Be sure to read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    For a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
