everything I try to open from the dashboard is downloaded to my computer, download after download… any ideas of how to correct this?

  I tried to update the php yesterday, the site started to act up, so i went back changed it back…still not right. I reset the site thinking that would correct it, however, everything i try to open from the dashboard is downloaded to my computer, download after download… any ideas of how to correct this?

  I reset it yesterday thinking it might straighten things out…it didnt…so there isn’t anything there.
  What it is going is in the dashboard, not on the site. I just had to pay wordpress to straighten it out…thank you for answering
