ew domain delay
-
i just purchased a new domain — i read over the instructions and it does say that there’s a short delay before it goes active. i was just wondering how long this delay is? it says active on my domain screen but when i type my new domain into the URL bar of my browser, it says that page doesn’t exist. i just wanted to make sure i’ve done everything properly!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you register a new domain, or make changes to an existing domain to point it to new hosting, it can take up to 72 hours (but usually much less) for those domain records to update across the internet (a process called propagation) so that your domain shows up properly.
If your site isn’t working properly after that window, please let us know and we can look into it for you.

thank you for your response — the new domain is active now.
however, i’m having a problem with the new domain as well. i set it as my primary domain, but when entered into the URL bar of my browser i receive an error notice that says something about a redirect loop. how do i correct this?

That’s part of the propagation process. It should resolve itself soon. In the meantime, you can access your site content at http://streamersofstardust.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
