Ex post facto username/email change

  I set this site up for a friend (he wasn’t with me at the time so I couldn’t use his email — the username was generated based on my email address) and now I want to change the username and email address so that he can access the blog (and I cannot).

  SO — Once I have his email address can I change the username after I’ve created the site?

  OR — If I just delete the site, will the username (related to me, not him) and website address (related to him) be gone forever?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you delete the site, it’s gone forever.

  Tell him to create a new user account at WordPress.com. Then you can Invite him via email or by username. Make him and Admin. Then you can leave the blog.
