  If I understand correctly, I can’t use the new Excel Interactive Button on my blog because it’s wordpress.com hosted. I think I read that, in the past, a few exceptions have been made for this sort of thing. I think that this would be a really cool feature and of great benefit to many bloggers. Any chance of it being made available?

  I’m working on a plugin now, just waiting for WordPress approval to get it into the plugins directory at wordpress.org. I’ll post back when it’s up and running!

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them for security reasons. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
