Excerpt control for pages

  Hi –

  I’d like to have the same control over what gets pulled as an excerpt from pages as I do from posts. How do I do that? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of for this info, but appear to be stuck.

  There are no RSS Feeds for Pages. Pages are meant to be used for static content that rarely changes.

  I’m using the pages for static content, but my homepage template is pulling in an excerpt from the page content, and I’d like to control what and how much it pulls in. I’d rather not rebuild the pages as posts because I don’t want the timestamp on them as they are intended to be static content, and a hub for updates over time.
