'Excerpt for your first post'…

  I am trying to get rid of the following message that is displayed under my first blog entry: ‘This is the excerpt for your very first post’. How do I erase this? Obviously this is my first excerpt, but I don’t need my readers to see this message. It looks a bit odd, and I’m trying to share this link with others.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  To edit the post excerpt, go to the Blog Posts Dashboard:
  https://wordpress.com/posts/obrienenchile.wordpress.com

  Edit your first blog entry, and in the left-hand column click on the “More Options” button.

  You will be able to edit the phrase, “This is the post excerpt.”

  Be sure to click the blue “Update” button at the top of the left-hand column after you’re done editing!
