Excerpt not showing in posts

    Hi

    I’ve searched the thread but couldn’t find anything specific to my question.

    I activated the option to show the excerpt option when posting a new page, but when I enter an excerpt it doesn’t show up in the published post.

    According form what I gathered its an extra area where you can put in a byline and it should display after the post section. I need an excerpt because I have guest articles on my blog and I give them the option of inserting two backlinks in the byline. It’s better than creating new users everytime.

    Are the excerpt do-follow btw?

    If you’re talking about the blog linked to your username you’re in the wrong forum. Are you talking about a different, wordpress.com, blog?
