Excerpt text isn't there anymore after installing a plugin

  Hi,

  I have installed a plugin on my blog and after that time the excerpt text isn’t there anymore. When I deactivate the plugin, it is here again.

  It’s a private programmed plugin, not an official. But I need it.

  Does anybody here knows such a problem and a solution for that?
  Or an Idea how to solve it?
  This would be really, really great!!
