Excerpts..

  I am new to this website, just created a blog few days ago, and found that the Home page display the whole post, i searched and found about “Excerpts”.

  But it seems that it requires programming, what compiler should i download? how to do this stuff? what my next move should be?

  * note: on my dashboard there is no “Plugins” tab as well as there is no “Editor” under “Appearance”, so a good question is how to bring those?

  Don’t search for advice in Google. For instructions that apply to your blog search in http://support.wordpress.com/ and that will tell you that you don’t need programming skills. It will also tell you that on WordPress.com we can’t use Plugins and in order to edit the appearance of the theme you need the Custom Design upgrade.
