  How can I set my blog to only show excerpts of my posts instead of the whole thing? I don’t want my blogs all running together, I want them sectioned off in boxes.

  Excerpts are theme dependent. Your theme doesn’t support excerpts.

  However, you can add More Tag by following the instructions in this support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/

  Please note this is an old thread so don’t expect the information to be 100% correct. There is no other place to find info about themes that support excerpts. There is no filter in Theme Directory at https://theme.wordpress.com/ I can’t find anything in excerpts support document either.
