  I want my posts to show up as excerpts instead of the full post. I have created them when I write my posts, but it does not show up when I publish them. I have tried to look up how to do this and found tutorials that show the code that must be entered, but I think this only works for wordpress.org. I cannot figure out where I would enter code on my page. I have the free Big Brother theme. Please help- very frustrated.

  I think what you are looking for is the “More Tag”. There is information about that here:
