excerpts don't change when used with URL shorteners?

    Hey there! It looks like once you add an excerpt and then shorten the post URL with a URL shortener, the excerpt won’t change when it appears elsewhere (such as on Facebook)–even if you change it on the post. This is weird. It’s like it’s cached somewhere.

    If I change my mind about an excerpt, how do I get the new excerpt text to show when that excerpt is automatically linked elsewhere?
