How do I add the excerpts from my posts on the home page slider?

Hi there – you can add excerpts through the excerpt area on each post, in the More Options section.

I followed the instructions and it still doesn’t appear. I’m using the Dara theme.

Apologies – this was my mistake, the slider in Dara does not display excerpts, just the post title. If you’d like to add an excerpt, that would require making a child theme, and starts to get a little more complex:
Making a child theme means your changes won’t be overwritten when you update the theme. If you’re new to child themes, you can explore these guides:
