excerpts not working

  hi, I have the customized comet theme and I want to use the excerpts function so that when someone clicks on the Daily Meal category…the posts show as excerpts….I’ve only got one post for that category so far…is this why it shows up as a full post under that category?

  Hi there,

  Not all themes (like the Comet theme) use the Excerpts feature. For themes that don’t support excerpts, you can use the More Tag instead.

  You can put the more tag right after the excerpt you want to show on your blog and category pages. Then, visitors can click through to view the full post.
