Excerpts of posts with a featured image

    I would like that in my homepage appeared the excerpts of my posts instead of using the “read more” tag, but when I select this option does not show the featured image of the posts. Would it be something specifically of my theme (Hemingway Rewritten)? Thanks for the help.

    You cannot compel a theme to produce results that it has not been designed to produce.

    If a featured image is assigned to a page or post, the image will appear in the header – otherwise, if you set a custom header it will be displayed. Note that a decorative background image works best in this area since it changes slightly based on the size of the screen, rather than an image designed to be displayed at a fixed size.

    Featured Images are 676 wide by unlimited height on Sticky posts, and 1280 by 416 as header images on single posts and pages.
