Excess blank space atop custom menu when used as widget
-
Just discovered that when placing a “custom menu” into a sidebar as a widget, a physical space appears in the sidebar at the top of the custom menu…. which is the spot where normally a widget title would appear. There is a title for the menu, but it’s only visible to Admin.
SUGGESTION: remove the blank “widget title” space from above custom menus when these are placed into the sidebar. Otherwise, there is much excess visible vertical space between the menu widget and the preceding widget.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I tested this in the Bouquet theme by adding a custom menu widget with a title and one without a title and I found the space above each one was the same. It’s possible that the spacing could appear to be bigger if the widget above the one with no title has extra spacing at the bottom of it. It’s hard to say more than that without seeing a specific example. If you can point me to an example of a case where the space looks too big to you, I’d be happy to take a closer look.
