Excess Comment feeds

    It would seem that some of my readers clicked on the box to be informed of every new comment and now they are getting 3 or 4 copies at a time, each time I have a new comment? A few have asked to have the box un-checked but I do not know how to oblige. Can someone help?

    As subscribers control their own subscriptions, you cannot do anything other than provide the instructions I post below.

    1. Click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.

    2. For logged in WordPress.com bloggers go to the posts they subscribed to comments on and click the same link to unsubscribe

    If they do not have a WordPress.com username account then 1. applies.
