Excessive ads are making my blog unreadable

    In the past two weeks, an excessive amount of ads started to appear on my blog and also on two other websites I’ve designed on WordPress. I understand that free accounts are made possible through ads, but this sudden change was a bad move, as the ads now appear everywhere in duplicates, making my posts unreadable. See some screenshots below. WordPress should not forget that it is the content we produce for free here that allows the platform to profit from ads in the first place. So, this should be a mutually beneficial relationship. I’ve complained about the new ads policy on the forum in Portuguese, but they did not take it seriously and basically told me “that’s life”. However, people are listening to very similar complaints here, on the forum in English, especially in this topic here. Could you please help me?

    I’ve been having the same problem. A banner ad suddenly appeared a few weeks ago and almost entirely blocks the content, making the site unreadable. When I close out the ad there is still a blank spot covering the content. This has effected all of the users who visit the blog. If this isn’t fixed I will be taking my business elsewhere.
