Excessive ads impression

  Hi,

  I have seen my wordads report for the month of September. I think there was something wrong in it. The ads impression that was shown in the dashboard is 2019229, but my actual views for the month of september only reached 622,170. My earnings also dropped from 50%.

  Can I request for a recheck? Please help me coz I’m sure it’s wrong.

  I’m back with an update for you.

  The ads impression that was shown in the dashboard is 2019229, but my actual views for the month of september only reached 622,170.

  This month we switched to displaying the number of ad impressions instead of page views. The difference you are seeing between page views and impressions is because one visitor can view multiple ads per page.

  My earnings also dropped from 50%.

  We have double checked your earnings and although there is a difference between the previous month, it is due to natural fluctuations. Impressions are just one factor in how earnings are calculated — advertisers bid to place ads on your site and the price depends on many other factors too.
