Excessively large font in my sidebar

    Timethief, thanks for the suggestions.

    Wank, so let me see if I’ve got this straight; the reason the text appears excessively large on the main page, is because I’ve somehow forgot to seperate the “h2” from the enlarged text and thus the title and the “more” sign, appear large on the main page? The thing is though, I haven’t enlarged any text, so it still doesn’t make sense (that my blog is acting up) :/ And if I had, that would only explain the large text on the main page, not the enlarged text in the side-bars.

    I never had these type of issues with my first blog :/

    Agreed. I could be wrong but IMHO you need staff help to rectify this. Here’s the link to contact staff with during support hours http://wordpress.com/contact-support/

    @wank
    He means the font in the headers for the widgets and not the font in posts.

    You have seen the site in IE, right? The entire sidebar is in a large font, not just the headers. There is an <h2> before both (more…) links that isn’t being closed.

    And if I had, that would only explain the large text on the main page, not the enlarged text in the side-bars.

    Trust me, the lack of a closing tag explains the enlarged text in the sidebars. You don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to, but it is true nonetheless.

    Delete both posts (or set them to draft, doesn’t matter which as long as the current versions aren’t on the page anymore). Republish them without inserting a (more…) link or touching any formatting buttons. Does this solve your problem? If it does, put it down to magic. If it doesn’t, contact staff and ask them why the text editor is inserting random tags.

    I don’t disbelieve you wank. Thanks for giving the blogger instructions as to what to do to correct the problem. I leave the walk throughs to you. ;)

    We don’t know that it’s going to correct the problem yet ;)

    @Wank.

    You were right indeed. The problem was as you described and it looks like I can post regularly without any problems now. Thanks a bunch to you wank, and to everyone else that tried helping me.

    (Btw I didn’t disbelieve you either, it’s just that I’m still sort of new to all of this, so I need some practise. Bear with me :) )

    The problem is now solved :)
