Exchange product

  Hello,
  As an every day part of selling products it is usual to have customers wish to exchange products for others. My products are 10 week blocks of classes and people need to reschedule (exchange) for other sessions (products). Can you please advise how to do this?
  I see that there are plugins for this but I just tried one with my webdesigner which was a dud.
  It seems to be a pretty arbitrary task in running a commerce site which should be as easy as refunding is.

  Howdy Jemma –

  I have been thinking about this… To me, the best option would be that you give the customer a unique coupon for 100% where they can repurchase the class at the new date. This way you aren’t having to worry about using another plugin or extension. The coupons are built in to WooCommerce. You’ll want to manually check your inventory if using that to make sure it doesn’t mess up any availability you have on the courses.

  Hope that helps. It can be a pain to reschedule folks so perhaps the best answer is that the original purchase has 2 sets of date which they can choose from, and communicate to you when they plan to attend?
