Exclamation mark in admin bar?

  Hello.

  For the last couple of hours I’ve been getting a red exclamation mark right in the middle of my admin bar, but for some reason I cannot find it reference anywhere. Does anybody know what that is or why I’m getting it?

  I’m seeing this on other people’s blogs when I’m logged in to WordPress.com. Right now all that link does is bring me to the top of the page. Kinda odd.

  I am not sure about this but this might have to do with 2-factor authentication. I have it enabled on my WordPress.com and this is what I see in Inspector.

  wp-admin-bar-two-step-nag.two-step-auth-nag-box

  Turns out it’s for people that haven’t printed out their backup codes. Problem solved!
