exclude a category from home page

  hi there! I’ve started building my blog from scratch, with new writers and a whole different scope of content. Because the theme is much broader, I have categorised old posts as “pre-September 2015”. I’m trying to exclude this category from appearing on my home page, but am having very little success. Can someone help me, please? :) Thanks!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If I’m correct you have to exclude that category from the homepage:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/
