Exclude Projects from Portfolio page [Espied theme]

    Is there a way to use project type or tag to exclude certain projects from appearing on the portfolio page template. In my experience, each published project appears on ALL portfolio page templates. The page template itself doesn’t seem to have a setting to select by type or tag.

    Using Jetpack portfolio shortcode, I can select projects by type or tag, but that doesn’t have the full grid desktop display (please correct me if wrong) that the portfolio page template does.

    Any insight would be appreciated. Thx

    Hi there,

    That is not possible, no.

    The portfolio page template will always display all portfolio projects published on the site. The only way to selectively display projects on a page is using the shortcode, but as you point out, that won’t use the theme’s unique styling like on the page template.
