    Hi,

It is indeed possible to exclude post from certain categories on your homepage, with CSS. But what we’re doing is actually hiding them, not excluding.

This difference matters, because the number of posts on your homepage and subsequent inner pages will vary because of the hiding process.

By default WP shows 10 posts per page. If we hide some posts with CSS, we will no longer show 10 posts, but less than that. If somehow we have posts from categories that should be hidden, then the homepage will be empty. That would be pretty weird, in my opinion.

So to recap: yes, this is possible. But the result might make your site look weird. Are you sure you want to do this?
