Exclude widgets on pages except on blog page

  I have place widgets for archive articles and created a new menu with all my pages because I want it to look like a website but I only want the widgets on my blog page so that people can find archives to older posts of my blog. I also created a static page so that my posts to not show up on my home page but rather on my blog page. How do I exclude showing the widgets on all my other pages?

  You don’t. The underlying template of each theme either provides for display of widgets on all pages or not. And we cannot accfess let alone edit template or theme files.

  If you wish to have a theme that does not display widgets on all pages then head over to the Themes Gallery and use the features filter to locate a theme that doesn’t display them on all pages.

  Also note that you failed to post the URL for the blog in question. Hence we Volunteers cannot even confirm whether or not your question is about a free hosted wordpress.com blog or a wordpress.org install. As we don’t have the URL we also don’t have a clue which theme you are using.
