  Sorry, but WordPress.com accounts can not be deleted. You can only delete blogs that are associated to the account (go to Tools – Delete Site and follow the steps), but in order to get rid of your account, I would suggest you remove all information from your account profile, then change the password to something really obscure, log out….and never log in again.
