Exford Theme

  Love the Exford theme. Is it ok to use it hosted instead of on wp.com? I am using Exford Theme for a self-hosted blog. I was able to upload it and the parent theme, Varia, to my host server.

  Now I want to customize and have the home page look similar to the demo, except–just use the cover photo with text and button (“Your Journey…”), then the block with left text and for images in a square (“Upcoming Tours….”), then “latest posts” for where posts will appear.

  It says to create two separate pages: one for Home and one for News, but it doesn’t tell me how to put it all together? Also, I want the lists of post excerpts to show the featured image on the left. currently, the latests posts list is just text.

  I have added plugin to make social media icons appear bottom of post, changed CSS to format titles and meta to left align and menu to right align.
