Exford Theme Navigation

    Hi! I’m looking for a bit of advice – we would like to change the look of the top navigation menu on our website. It looks very basic and the Exford theme doesn’t allow for changing how it looks. Can anyone suggest a CSS tweak to perform better – for instance, have the sub headings in the navigation menu behave differently (expand to the side rather than underneath?) Any advice or ideas welcome!

    Additionally, can we tell the site to use a different core font using CSS?

    Hey –

    Thanks for getting in touch. Once we start playing with the layout and design through CSS customization you are going to impact another area of the site, it will also impact how the mobile configuration works. I have a different suggestion.

    The curriculum is the only menu piece with sub menu items. My suggestion is that you place all of those sub menu items on to a “curriculum page” that is linked to the menu. When somebody clicks on that they will then be able to see all the difference components. Does that make sense?

    The column block could work really well for presenting this material on that page.
