do you need a contents of your abandoned blog or you’d like to regain that blogname and continue blogging on .com with that particular blogname?

well, technically, all what is needed to ‘exhume’ your “deleted” blog is just one button push (cause I beleive it’s stored forever).

but even if you’ll be able to prove an evidence of that blog ownership (e.g. send an e-mail from the same e-mail address the blog had been registered with and/or from the same IP address it was registered or last post published from), it’s hardly you will succeed, alas.

It’s likely that Yahoo still has the content cached. They still have my Diary-X blog from three and four years ago.

i think is like options says… and it is the matter of my question.
i think my ‘deleted’ blog is not really deleted… if i go to “testalucente.wordpress.com” i can read that the content of the blog and also the blog was deleted, in any case ‘my’ url exist. is not the same if i try to view an inexistent blog like ‘fkjhglk.wordpress.com’.

anyway the only thing i would like to use again is the blogname… but, yes, i know… there was written…

    thanks for yours opinions

Hopefully, you are clear about this now. Staff will not “exhume” deleted blogs. However, you could try to register a new blog with a similar name as you cannot register one with an identical name.
