Exif data no longer showing despite correct settings

I’ve only found closed topics on how NOT to show exif data. My media settings are set to “show meta data when available” and it worked until incl. August (https://throughalaywomanslens.wordpress.com/2017/08/31/2017-august-in-pictures/). As of September (https://throughalaywomanslens.wordpress.com/2017/09/30/2017-september-in-pictures) no exif data is showing underneath the pics.
I have unclicked, saved, then re-clicked the media settings for showing exif data, but nothing’s working.
Can someone figure out what happened or point me towards any other forum entries with the same problem?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That sure is strange. I’m not sure what could be causing that. I have checked the changelogs for Jetpack and I don’t see anything that is related to ‘Exif’.
I recommend trying different Gallery types(Tiled Mosaic, Square Tiles etc.) and see if that fixes your issue. I have tagged the thread with ‘modlook’ so that a WordPress Staff can look into your issue much further.

@bill93 – Thanks for tagging. I just tried again to change the gallery type to other settings but still no exif data. However, when I just created a test post with a new gallery, the exif data is showing again.
So it seems like my September gallery is an isolated incident. Not sure it’s worth pursing the problem, although it would be interesting to know how that happened (just in case it does again). -

Alright, I’m back.
Did the September gallery get edited any differently from the previous months?
I used the Exif Viewer Chrome extension which shows that there just isn’t any exif data connected to those September images. There isn’t any data to be shared on the theme.

Hi Liz, thank you for taking a look! That is quite weird, because I edit all my pics in lightroom, and all the same way. I must have screwed something up completely for there no being any exif data available.
So I guess/hope this was a one off, I’ll be keeping an eye on what happens during my editing to make sure everything works normally next time. At least I know I didn’t screw up my WP settings :-)
