Existing Blog WordPress..com Blog to Existing Domain Name

  Hello. I want to take joshkwilecki.wordpress.com and make it joshnyc.com. I already own the domain name. I literally just want to keep everything about the blog (theme, content, plugins) but just change the domain name to joshnyc.com. I thought domain mapping was the answer, but all it does is redirect joshkwilecki.wordpress.com to a clean install of WordPress without the existing blog at joshkwilecki.wordpress.com. Mapping it the other way takes joshnyc.com to my existing blog, which is exactly what I want, however the domain name reads joshkwilecki.wordpress.com which is what I do NOT want.

  How do I keep everything about my existing WordPress blog and just change nothing but the domain name?

  Hi. I tried it and when I type joshkwilecki.wordpress.com, it directs to me joshnyc.com, and joshnyc.com is currently the new address of joshwilecki.wordpress.com. Is your problem solved?
