  Should I Keep your domain with your current provider and point it to WordPress.com or should I transfer/connect it instead?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there!

  It’s more what you prefer.

  Connecting allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow managing both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Therefore it depends on whether or not you want to manage your domain separately from your hosting or if you want to manage both in the same place. In the end, the result is the same.
