Existing domain name

  I am the registrant for a.co.uk address and would like to start a blog in WordPress. The core of the domain name is taken at WordPress and I am aware that you cannot transfer domain names in. So, if I start a blog with another name and also map my existing domain name to the WordPress blog, what will the reader see in his/her address bar?

  Lets say I start with WordPress using http://www.upplander.wordpress.com and then map my domain name [www.xyzblanketyblank.co.uk] to http://www.upplander.wordpress.com what will the reader see in his/her address bar?

  Once the domain mapping is set up, a reader visiting xyzblanketyblank.co.uk will only see that domain name in his/her address bar.
