Existing Domain Name

  I already have a domain name registered through GoDaddy.com. What do I need to do in order for my domain name to be viewed without ‘wordpress.com’ at the end of it?? Do I need to pay and upgrade or do I need to transition to ‘wordpress.org’??? New at this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there,

  To use your domain with WordPress.com you need the domain mapping upgrade that’s included in all our plans.

  First go to My Site ->Plans and add a paid plan to your site. Then you can connect your domain under My Site ->Domains. You can find all the steps for adding domain mapping here:
