Existing Domain without updates

  Dear Sirs,

  Can I request an already existing domain “wordpress.com” which is whitout any updates since 2006?

  I’d like to use a domain that is already used by another user, however I saw that any posts or updates since 2006.

  Is there any way to request this domain?

  yes you can request the domain be transferred to you – but you will be wasting everyone’s time – blogs are owned by the original owner – WordPress.COM will not transfer it to you – you would need to contact the original owner and have them transfer it to you, and WordPress.COM will not help you a bit contacting the original blogger for privacy reasons
