  Hi

  We have an existing web site built with WordPress. However, it was created by someone and I suspect it was created using the free version. How do I found out if that is so and can I get help from someone via chat or email to choose the correct plan (which would work best for us)?

  Having SEO in your business option- what exactly would that do? Would I need any specific training to maintain a business web site in WordPress?

  Hey @buildformworkukcouk,

  If your site URL ends with WordPress.com (e.g.: yoursitename.wordpress.com as a SubDomain), then there can be the chance your site is using a free plan. If you have a proper domain name with .com, .net or any other TLD then your site is using a paid plan.

  Maybe your site is using a self-hosted version of WordPress, in that case, it’s hard to guess anything.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, your site is using self-hosted version of WordPress.

  Your site is hosted with Pickaweb.co.uk.

  Would you be able to help me please? I’m in a similar situation.

  I have no idea what plan our website is on. A number of staff members have used it and gone.
