Exit from images slide show carousel

  At holtprobusclub.wordpress.com I have installed a Gallery and slideshow carousel. The problem I have found is that

  a) It might be better to have the carousel open in a new window and I can’t find if I can do that

  and b) The small white ” X ” to close the carousel is not only not obvious but also is at the top left of screen: in Windows we expect a ‘Close’ button to be at top right and it was a while before I found it!

  Any suggestions?
