Expanding my blog; also, how do you see comments?

  • Unknown's avatar

People have commented on my blog, but I can’t see the comments in the reply section. I also am wondering if the theme I chose will let me add another blog on the same page or if I need to upgrade. I don’t want the only blog I write to be visible, with the rest going into the archives. Does the ADELE format allow for multiple blogs on the page? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Unless you use the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme, know that the front pages of our blogs “showcase content” and comments are collapsed on that page. You cannot change this. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

Comments appearing only on the single post view is the usual way blogs function.

You can use the recent comments widgets in your sidebar so your readers will see that there are comments to read.

All themes allow multiple blog posts to be placed on the main page of for posts in the blog. That is done here > Settings > Reading
Blog pages show at most __posts
    “save changes”
