  My domain has expired; how can I get it back?

  Hi there,

  Is this for directionsnotincluded.net?

  That domain expired on 28 July and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It should be possible to still get it back, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain at this point in the expiration process.

  Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the process started.

  If I bought a different domain can directionsnotincludeddotnet.wordpress.com be directed to it?

  Yes, if you add a domain to your site, either by buying it here or by buying it somewhere else and mapping it here, we automatically redirect your free address to the custom domain. We did the same thing when you had the previous domain connected here.

  What we can’t do is redirect the expired domain to the new domain, as we no longer control the expired domain, and unless you recover it, it will be released and sold so someone else.
