  • Hey there,

I checked with our registrar and cjshonoluludj.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

    Hello darnelldibbles,

I would like to pay the late fee along with the renewal fee.

Please advise on how to do so.

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

  • Hi there,

I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore cjshonoluludj.com to your account. I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

I will let you know once I hear back from the registrar.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

I was able to retrieve cjshonoluludj.com and reactivate it under your account!

I have sent you the manual payment for the fee and registration, so please pay that when you get the opportunity.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    Hello darnelldibbles,

Thank you, I have just made the payment.

Since you were able to reactivate it, does that mean I don’t have to worry about it going to auction and that it is mine to use again?

  • That is correct. =) The domain is safe and under your account now. Moving forward, I would make sure to set your subscription to auto-renew or remember to pay for the subscription ahead of the expiration date.

    Thanks!
