I waited until the last minute to update my payment information for renewal. Is there anyone I can speak to about renewing my domain name?

When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.

If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

I am pretty sure I will hear back from them today. I am not sure if they work over the weekend, but I should hear from them sometime today and will restore the site as soon they touch base.

Good Morning, Darnell. This ordeal resulted when I mistakenly thought everything had migrated to Bluehost. I didn’t realize any remaining connection to WordPress.com until everything went dark. My mistake entirely. Will the site and emails be reactivated automatically or do I need to do any work from my end? Also, as I understand it, I must pay a redemption fee. I’ll be happy to arrange that at your convenience. Again, thank you for your assistance. I just want to make sure I’m doing my part to help you.

Not a problem! Yes, everything, including email, should be back up and running once the site is restored. You shouldn’t have to alter anything on your end. And we’ll take care of payment once we know that everything is working to your satisfaction.
