Expired domain

  My domain expired because I didn’t realize my credit card info wasn’t correct & I thought it would auto renew. How do I get it back? I was also considering transferring it to squarespace since they handle my website but they said I need some kind of transfer code. At this point I want to do what’s easiest so for now maybe I just need to figure out how to reactivate my domain.
