expired domain

    Hello hope you all are fine :)
    My domain is expired and I want to get it back.
    It’s registered on Wild West Domains and I called their call center and they said I should contact wordpress because the domain has been generated here and it makes sense because my website has been built with wordpress.

    Now nothing works, website, emails (zohomail service said I should first renew the domain).

    Can someone help to let me know how to pay.?
    Please note that if I surf into my word press account into the Purchase manager I can’t do anything because it says ‘website disconnected’ and nothing useful is allowed to do.

    That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

    I also see you just bought a Jetpack plan, I assume in an attempt to renew the domain. If you don’t want to keep that plan, please let me know and I can cancel and refund it for you.

    yes I agree with that fee.
    please recover it.
    I bought that pack for the rerason you assumed so yes whether you go on with a refund or you just charge the difference. let me know

  • I’ve sent you a link via email which you can use to pay for the domain’s recovery. Please let me know if you don’t receive it. Once we receive payment I can email our registrar to restore the domain, and from there it usually takes a day or two until your site will be online again.

    I’ve refunded the Jetpack plan as well. You should receive that refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank.

  • Thank you for letting me know. I’ve emailed our registrar to restore the domain. I’ll let you know as soon as they reply.

    Refunds are automatically issued to the same credit card or paypal account from which the original payment was made. If you don’t see the refund in 10 business days there’s likely a delay in processing it at your bank. This especially happen with non-US banks sometimes. Please follow up with them directly in that case.

  • Your domain has been restored and I’ve reactivated it on your account. It’s already showing your Bluehost site for me, but if it’s not working for you, please try clearing your browser cache.
