Expired domain
-
My domain appears to have expired according to an email I received. I don’t understand why because it’s been less than a year since my last renewal (June 6, 2017) and I had a credit card on file to charge that is still a valid card.
I need to figure out how to get this domain back. I’ve tried doing the live chat with an expert to no avail. They told me it looked like the domain was pointing to GoDaddy. However, I’ve never used GoDaddy. I was with Bluehost until November 2017 and then moved to SiteGround.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have a valid card on file your purchases at WordPress.com renew 30 days before the expiry date to avoid any untoward incident.
I’ll add modlook tag to this thread for the attention of the support staff. Please wait while someone from the support team gets back to you on this.

Hi –
I’ve send a note to our domain partner to inquire about getting your domain, businessofcollegesports.com restored.
Typically it only takes them a few days to write back and as soon as I have more information I will be back in touch.

Hello! The domain has been restored and is active again. It is pointing to Siteground right now. If you want to use it with your WordPress.com site, you would just need a paid plan subscription. Plans and pricing can be found here:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/
If you’d like to continue using it with Siteground, you may want to transfer the domain to them so you can more easily manage your domain and hosting in the same place. This guide explains how to transfer:

I decided I should transfer this domain over to SiteGround to make things easier and more organized in the future. I looked at the directions linked above. However, it’s not listed under my Domains tab.

A renew link finally appeared for my domain. I renewed and now I’m able to transfer. Problem solved!
